You get mad at your kids because they're lazy. Please keep in mind that laziness is the beginning of creativity. Lazy people don’t prefer to work like other people, they don't like to study like other people. What they like is shortcuts. That's very important - because if you don't like working for eight, maybe more hours a day, you need to create some kind of fast and quick option in your life to make money, to pass classes, to study faster. So the solution can be your own creation, very unique, and you do everything faster than others.

Let's say you want to earn more than a hundred thousand a year: How can you do that without working so many hours, like the way your parents taught you? That was just learned behavior, it doesn't mean that you need to work constantly, by any means, to make more money. You just need to work efficiently, and the efficiency will bring you the amount of money you're looking for.

How long will it take? You never know, but if you find a quick way of working efficiently, you can reach your goals more easily. You should always have a backup plan, which we call Plan B. Your Plan B can be learning something quickly and working on it, then you can make more money out of your new profession. You can keep your job as long as you like. Although it allows you to make money on the side, the side job shouldn't be too complicated or demanding. You just do it to have extra money. And as you get more efficient or productive in your side job, you can spend more money on your family, you can spend more time with your family, and you can spend more time for yourself when you need to have “me time”.

So, being lazy is not that bad. Being lazy gives you the opportunity to overcome the challenges you were told, or taught, by your elders and your parents. That you need to work too much to earn money is not true. You need to work efficiently to make more money. And this efficiency changes from job to job. There are certain jobs that you can’t do for more than twenty hours, at most twenty five, and your efficiency will suffer if you work more. That's the nice thing about these jobs, you can find a way to make more money.

Don't get me wrong, working fewer hours and making more money doesn't mean that you won’t be efficient. Of course if you work twenty hours a week, it means you work an extra ten hours to obtain information. And this information can be used over and over again for your benefit.

So think about it: What kind of a job can help you more than a job that makes you work hours and hours...and hours...and hours? Just set a limit for yourself: How much money do you really need in your life to get to how you want to live? For example, let's say you want to work certain hours, plus you want to do certain things. Maybe you want to travel by yourself, maybe you don't want to travel but you like dining in nice, fancy restaurants. Or you want to dress very nice, very sharp and very chic. Or maybe you like buying expensive watches, or expensive necklaces. It doesn't matter.
